Located inside a golf club, this hidden gem was truly an experience when I dined in for a date night. I'd like to explain the cuisine. I ordered a Pasta dish which when tasted, had the most delicious and well-balanced flavors thanks to the Wagyu bacon and handmade noodles. For a mocktail I was pleased to order a lavender lemonade spritz that had a beautiful subtle aroma. The cowboy ribeye steak my husband ordered was so delicious, juicy and perfectly cooked I had to keep stealing bites. The atmosphere and cleanliness was at a high standard, and interior design is minimal, yet intentional. I truly felt like the 1% when I sat in the dining room. I will most definitely be returning to this wonderful resturant, especially with a hunger ready to be satiated.
Absolutely phenomenal experience at this restaurant! The food was truly exceptional, and the service was top-notch - we felt like VIPs from start to finish. The atmosphere was beautiful, and we had a wonderful view to enjoy while savoring our delicious dinner. Huge compliments to the chef - the dishes were creative, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The drinks were also impressive, and the entire ambiance was so relaxing and inviting. We'll definitely be back - it's a must-visit spot for anyone looking for outstanding food and service. Highly recommended! 5/5 stars!
This place is absolutely gorgeous. Feels like you’re in different place. The food was first class tasted amazing. Service was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for everything. Can’t wait to come back with the family
A real surprise. Located south side of Caledonia. Friends took us here. Was not sure what to expect. Food quantity excellent. Ambience terrific. Golf club. Still stunned. Worth it.
Maybe I visited on a bad day but my experience was not good. We ordered the bone marrow which was covered in shredded beef. We ate it hoping to find some marrow under there but shouldn't have. It made us sick. Steak was just alright. Server was kind but inexperienced. You can find great options in the area for that price range.
We booked a table for 4 for a birthday on a Sunday. Having been there before precovid we thought it would be the perfect locale for this celebration. Sadly it was very disappointing. I’m not sure what has changed since covid as far as quality and ownership but was subpar as far as food quality , service and overall customer experience. Started with a call to check what the corkage fee was , this was a debacle seemed there wasn’t really an understanding of what that meant which is fine. Turns out you can not bring your own vintage from home. No problem. Good thing to let staff know for inquired, did also email that same question to the info email that is “monitored” still have not received a response. Arrival. We were seated quickly. There was about 4-5 other occupied tables in the dining room. Chose a nice bottle of wine only to find out they don’t have stock of some of the wines in their wine list. Another thing to instruct servers. We arrived at 615. Entrees brought to table at 8:05 and all were cold or barely warm. Prime rib (which I have always told people was the best in Canada ) was cool to touch , Demi glaze had already started to dry a bit as did the meat. Same went for the short ribs and fish was literally cool in the centre. The only thing hot was the side of gravy and the Mac and cheese side. Server never came to check how meals were so after sometime we were able to flag her down- she said they were brought out of the kitchen hot. Don’t think it’s a far walk so not sure how that was possible. They did offer either free dessert or to redo the entrees but let us know that would be another 40mins which we were all very tired by now as it’s an hour drive for us. There was no point in dessert when not one of us got to have supper. After pressing we asked if the dishes could be reheated , she did reluctantly agree and an efforts was made which is why I have 3 stars -reheating done and didn’t really help plates were warm but not the actual food. We got boxes to put all three entrees in to go box for pets. When the bill came. No discount was provided so one of the people in our party asked her to go and get her manager , she said she could not. At no point did a manager or chef come to see us. They just kept sending this poor waitress as a messenger. She said they were short staffed and she had no say in matters. Finally she brought a bill with some discount and dropped it in the center of the table and walked away. So us and our literal doggie bag packed up and left. The birthday not even acknowledged and we were all hungry. Having been there precovid I know the potential this place has. Maybe training , staffing not sure where to start but I’m hoping they will once again , some day be a choice for a higher end meal.
